Full disclosure

Who owns what, and how we make money.

We run one part of the trade ourselves and list the rest on merit. Here is exactly where that line falls, in plain terms, with nothing buried.

The most important thing to know about Everything Motorbike is who operates it. This directory is run by Bladespeed, a UK motorbike transport and storage business. The operating company is PSPD Limited (Pianospeed London Ltd), with a registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ and an operating base at Unit 5, Uffington Trading Estate, SN7 7QD. That is not a footnote, it is the headline, and everything below follows from it.

Our service: transport, storage and dealer delivery

The motorbike transport, motorbike storage and dealer delivery you see on this site are our own service, provided by Bladespeed. When you book any of them, you are dealing with the company that runs the directory. We label this on every page where it appears, and the only call to action on those pages is our own quote tool. This is the part of the trade we are not neutral about, and we do not pretend to be.

The complementary trades are independent

The 5 categories of business we genuinely list, the dealers, garages, parts shops, gear shops and insurers, are independent of us. We have no ownership in them and take nothing for listing them on merit. They are ranked by the facts, independents first, exactly as set out in how we list.

Why the links are not symmetrical

You will notice the linking on this site is deliberately uneven, and there is an honest reason for it:

  • Complementary trades get a real link. Dealers, garages, parts and gear shops each get a normal, dofollow link to their own website. We want you to reach them.
  • Rival transport and storage operators do not. Where we list other transport or storage companies for completeness, we list the name only, with no outbound link. They compete directly with our own service, and it would be dishonest to pretend otherwise by passing them traffic while recommending ourselves.

That is the whole rule: we link out to the trades we are not competing with, and we do not link out to the ones we are. Stating it openly is the point.

How the directory earns

  • The transport business funds it. Bladespeed pays for the directory. That is the main commercial logic of the whole site.
  • Featured placement is paid, and labelled. A complementary business can pay for a Featured listing, which lifts it within its own town and category. It is clearly marked and it never outranks a stronger listing on merit. We do not sell the top of a list.
  • Claiming a listing is free. Any business can claim and correct its listing at no cost.
  • Insurance affiliate is dormant. The directory is built to support an affiliate arrangement for insurance, but it is currently switched off and earns nothing. If it is ever switched on, this page will be updated to disclose it, on the day it goes live.

What we will never do

We will never sell a ranking position, never present our own service as a neutral recommendation, never hide who operates this site, and never fabricate a listing to pad a count. If any of that changes, this page changes first.

Questions about any of this go to hello@everythingmotorbike.co.uk. See also our about page and how we list.

Does Everything Motorbike own the transport service it recommends?

Yes, and we say so plainly. Transport, storage and dealer delivery are run by Bladespeed, the same business that operates this directory. They are our own service, not a neutral pick, and they are labelled that way everywhere they appear.

Are the dealers, garages and shops connected to you?

No. The complementary trades we list are independent businesses with no commercial tie to us. They get a normal, dofollow link to their own website. We do not link out to rival transport or storage operators, because those compete with our own service.

Do you take money to rank a business higher?

No. Featured is paid inventory, clearly labelled, that lifts a business within its town and category without ever outranking a stronger listing on merit. We never sell a position at the top of a list.

Do you earn commission on insurance?

There is an affiliate arrangement for insurance built into the directory, but it is currently switched off and earns nothing. If it is ever switched on, this page will say so, on the day it happens.
